“不！不！今天是我的生日，我不想看见红头发的人！”
“Harry昨天就打电话给Ron了。”Lupin装出没有参与其中的表情，“我花了不少工夫才说服Molly不要准备很多礼物。”
想到来自Molly的礼物让Snape又打了个寒战，他还是更喜欢Hermione从爱尔兰邮寄来的那张麻瓜风味的生日卡片，简单朴素。
“这是什么？”Lupin厉声说，Snape注意到Harry已经回来了，右手里拎着一只死鸭子。

Snape看了Lupin一眼，狼人也露出“好象有点冷，不是吗？”的样子。
“恩……虽然我不想说……但是，你没考虑过，禽流感什么的吗？”Snape琢磨了一阵子，终于冒出这个对他来说不算很熟悉的麻瓜词汇。
“英国没有禽流感。”
“那可不一定。”
“是公的。”Lupin轻轻的说。
“禽流感……什么？”Harry推推眼镜。
“我是说，是他，而不是她。”Lupin抬眼看Harry，“这是只公野鸭。”
“不可能。”Harry把嘴张成一个O型，“我看见那两只鸭子……在……干那个……哦……”
Lupin看着Snape，后者快要发怒了。
“不！不！想都别想！我才不会吃一只可能有禽流感的同性恋野鸭呢！！！”
Lupin把鸭子丢回Harry怀里，飞快的跑去拿他的外套，“我去买一只。”
“那么这只怎么办？”Harry冲他的背影大叫。
“回头你可以带回家让Ginny烤给你吃。”Snape耸耸肩。
活见鬼的同性恋野鸭。
“假如碰上个生物学家，没准能得诺贝尔奖呢。你说呢，教授？”
当天晚些时候，当大门在最后一个客人身后关上，Lupin转回身，笑容满面的看着正被Molly的礼物困扰的Snape。
“她认为我这个年纪的人会喜欢动物形状的槭糖饼吗？”
“也许，”狼人温柔的回答，“但是我觉得它们挺可爱。”
半融化的槭糖饼确实挺可爱，尤其当Lupin凑近，试图从Snape嘴里抢走一块饼的时候。
“小狼形状的吗？”
